Join us for an unforgettable Independence Day celebration packed with fun for all ages. Locals and visitors alike can enjoy a charming teddy bear parade, our 51st annual foot race, a delicious pancake breakfast, a festive parade through the village, a lively concert in the park, and spectacular fireworks over the lake. Come experience the magic and community spirit of Cazenovia this July 4th!
July 3, 11am
Teddy Bear Parade
Join us for the Teddy Bear Parade on Wednesdsay before the 4th of July! We will gather at Cannon Park and then parade to the library. At the library, we will enjoy hot dogs and do some crafts.
July 4th, 8am
51st Annual July 4th Foot Races
All races start near Cazenovia High School. The 5K, 10 Mile, and one mile courses are each USATF Certified.

The 5K race begins on Emory St, proceeds to Sullivan, Ridge, Glenwood, and then onto East Lake Rd and finishes in Lakeland Park.

The Fun Run starts and finishes near the school.

The 10 mile race makes an initial loop through the village and then heads north on East Lake Rd on a counter clockwise loop of Cazenovia Lake, and finishes in Lakeland Park.

Pancake Breakfast
Please join us for breakfast at Lakeland Park, hosted by the Cazenovia Rowing Club. ON THE MENU: Plain, Blueberry or Gluten Free Pancakes with Sausage, Juice and Coffee. COST: $10 Adults, $6 Children (3-10), or $30 Family (2 adults + 2 Children) Bring $ for RAFFLE featuring local Cazenovia artists and businesses. You do not need to be present to win!

Swimming Area Opens
Lifeguards will be on duty at 11am on July 4th at Lakeland Park. Break up the busy day with a refreshing dip in Caz Lake!

Cazenovia Community Band performs marches, medleys, and popular tunes at Memorial Park!

July 4th Parade
Parade Lines up in front of high school at 12:30, and steps off at 1PM down Lincklaen St. before heading west on Albany St. and back to school. Roads will close in anticipation of the parade, so get there early and bring a lawn chair!

Art Sale at Carpenter's Barn
Following the 4th of July Parade, come down to the park, see some fine arts, enjoy the bands, and set up for an evening of spectacular fire works.
Carpenter’s Barn, restored by CazArts, is the stone carriage house built in 1889 that is the home of the Community Arts Hall and 6 Artists Studios, offering Art Classes and Community Arts Events year round.

Party Nuts Band w/ Dave Novak
Bring a blanket and a picnic basket down to Lakeland Park and enjoy a public concert lakeside!

Maria DeSantis Orchestra
Stick around after the Party Nuts Band for the Maria DeSantis Orchestra. Nothing like a classical ensemble before a spectacular firework show!

Fireworks on Caz Lake
Every year on the Fourth of July, Lakeland Park has a display of fireworks presented by the Cazenovia Lions Club! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the show!

Pop-Up Sales Along Albany Street
The fun doesn't end after the fireworks! Reserve a room at one of our fabulous lodges and enjoy a long weekend in the village! Check out the pop up sales from local vendors and artisans along Albany St and don't miss the Farmer's Market on Saturday, July 6th from 9am-2pm!
