🌳 What’s Happening at the Grand Opening?
10 am: Stream Invertebrate Workshop—this family-friendly activity, led by the Isaac Walton League, is fun for all ages.
10:30 am-12 noon: Tour the Historic Lehigh Valley Depot & Caboose—step back in time and learn about the significance of the railroad in Cazenovia’s development.
11 am: Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Demonstrations—with the Trout Unlimited Madison County Chapter.
11 am: Food Trucks—Funk 'n Waffles, Dad's Ice Cream, and H. Grey Beverages will offer sweet and savory options for purchase.
11:30 am: Live Music—Flamingo Hotel featuring Jonah Ladd.
12:30 pm: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony—witness the official opening of the Gorge Trail Gateway.
1 pm: History Hike—Explore the trails with Madison County Historian Matt Urtz who will share the early industrial history along Chittenango Creek.
1 - 2:30 pm: Tour the Historic Lehigh Valley Depot & Caboose—another chance to step back in time and learn about the significance of the railroad in Cazenovia’s development.
2 pm: Guided Hike, Poetry on the Trail Exhibit—explore art and nature together.
