Experience the Beauty of Lavender at Cazenovia's Inaugural Lavender Festival

Cazenovia’s inaugural Lavender Festival will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 6 at Farmstead 1868. Advanced tickets are required.

Get ready to immerse yourself in a sea of purple as Cazenovia proudly announces its inaugural Lavender Festival, set to take place on July 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the enchanting Farmstead 1868, nestled at 4690 Shephards Road.

Monica Cody, the visionary owner of Farmstead 1868, expressed her excitement, saying, "Provence and the south of France are painted in hews of purple each summer, with rows and rows of lavender’s fragrant flowers. But you don’t have to travel a world away. Our lavender will beckon visitors to stroll through the fields."

This delightful festival will celebrate the blooming lavender fields at the historic farm. Attendees can wander through rows of aromatic lavender, discover its rich history and diverse uses, peruse lavender products and handmade treasures crafted by over 20 local artisans, and indulge in delicious fare from food trucks while enjoying live music.

"We’re thrilled to share the beauty of our lavender fields with the community," Cody continued. "This festival will be a wonderful way to experience the sights, smells, and flavors of this amazing herb, and it is sure to become a nouveau favorite among lavender aficionados."

Here are some highlights of what you can expect at the Cazenovia Lavender Festival:
