Autumn Leaves
Arts Festival
CazArts invites you to The Autumn Leaves Arts Festival in Cazenovia! Enjoy this beautiful historic village as the leaves are turning and summer breezes blow off the lake tinted with the breath of autumn air and the crispness of our fall evenings. With historic restaurants and inns, outdoor dining, strollable pathways through the Willow Patch along the Creekside, and sunsets over Cazenovia Lake, the Autumn Leaves Arts Festival invites you to take a
moment, relax, and thoroughly enjoy art within nature's art.

Sensory Saturdays

This summer, the Rippleton Schoolhouse at Lorenzo invites visitors of all ages to engage with history hands-on during Sensory Saturdays. Come explore an authentic 1887 schoolhouse, try your hand at traditional games and activities, and explore the beautiful grounds. Admission is free!

Limestone Creek Hunt Club’s Parade and Blessing of the Hounds

9am - 10am, Lorenzo State Historic Site

Join LCH for the annual Parade of Hounds through Cazenovia. Signifying the start of the official "hunt" season, it begins at the village green on Emory Ave., next to Sullivan and Albany Streets, around the corner by the Brae Loch and on to Lorenzo. Following the parade there will be the traditional Blessing of the Hounds on the front lawn of Lorenzo. Get the details here!

Lorenzo Fine Art Tour

Join art historian Elisabeth Genter Montevecchio for a free 45-minute tour highlighting Lorenzo’s amazing fine art collection including works by Sanford Gifford, Edward Moran, Jasper Cropsey, Dwight Williams, and 17th century Dutch Masters. Space is limited, make your reservation!
Fall Harvest Celebration

In celebration of the Autumn Leaves and the natural beauty and trails here, the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation is having the George Trail Gateway Grand Opening September 21, with activities for kids and adults! Join us for the official ribbon cutting, live music, food trucks, a stream invertebrates interactive lesson, fly fishing, and guided hikes! The public is welcome and encouraged to attend! Parking behind the Cazenovia Public Library.
Rippleton Schoolhouse "Community Day"

Since relocating to the Lorenzo grounds in 1997, the Rippleton Schoolhouse has served as a place to "live history." Since 2002, the Friends of Lorenzo have hosted this annual event welcoming "kids of all ages" to participate in period games, enjoy live music, refreshments, horse-drawn wagon rides, fall crafts, and more! Cazenovia Art Trail
September 28 - 29

Twenty eight Artists Studios will be open to the public throughout the town of Cazenovia, September 28th & 29th. Cazenovia Art Trail will have over 45 artists participating in showing their work, in the studios where the creative process takes place. Cazenovia Fall Fest

Walk Among the Spirits

Brave guests of all ages will be guided by lantern light among the headstones of the historic Evergreen Cemetery, where they will encounter several “spirits” willing to share their tales of adventure and intrigue and their knowledge of Cazenovia’s past.
